August Goal Setting – Let’s Do This !
It’s August – can you actually believe it? Around the middle of the year, I always seem to go into a mode of reflection. Think back to January… What goals did you set out for yourself?
If you are like me, there are still quite a few to accomplish this year. Perhaps life has just thrown so many curveballs your way for the first half of the year that you haven’t achieved any.
If you are feeling this way, don’t stress sister! There is still the other half of the year to accomplish your goals. It’s not too late!
The key lies in your reflection process.
- Take a look at that list of goals and strategize what needs to be done in what order.
- Set some realistic time constraints for each to get a better picture of what is achievable.
- Identify your zones of genius and those that you may need to outsource.
- Set a budget for each that aims to get it done in the best possible way.
Now that your list is refreshed, it’s time to get reinvigorated and motivated! This means time for self reflection.
Ask yourself, how are you feeling about your business currently? If it is anything short of amazing and positive, what are you doing about it?
It’s important not to go with the flow when you aren’t feeling great about your business anymore. It’s not easy starting and maintaining a business, I can definitely validate you on that… It takes work, mindset adjustments, deep thought and creativity.
But sometimes it’s hard to reach in and pull that positive energy from a genuine place, leaving you feeling overwhelmed and stuck.
